Julie received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Regis College and went on to receive her master's degree in Mental Health Counseling with a certificate in Trauma Studies. During her undergraduate studies, Julie worked at McLean Hospital supporting adults with personality, mood, and psychotic disorders. In her graduate studies, she worked in the residential setting supporting adults with a variety of mental health diagnoses. After graduating, Julie began working for Advocates in the Psychiatric Emergency Services Waltham office. In her current role, Julie serves as the Co-Response Jail Diversion Clinician for the Watertown Police Department.
