In 2003, Advocates launched the first co-response jail diversion program in Massachusetts with the Framingham Police Department. A recent segment from NBC10 Boston features Advocates clinician Cassie McGrath and highlights our 20-year partnership with the department.

Life Skills & Learning Center Winter Update

We ended 2022 with a big bang! Many wonderful activities and programming that occurred in our community, but it was a tough end of year, with COVID hitting us worse than we have seen. Thankfully, all are recovered and we were able to welcome ten more friends back into programming at the end of 2022, as well as a few new staff members.

Advocates Receives Grant to Support Behavioral Health Navigation Line

Advocates, on behalf of Behavioral Health Partners of MetroWest (BHPMW), a partnership comprising local agencies Advocates, South Middlesex Opportunity Council, Spectrum Health Systems, and Wayside Youth & Family Support Network, was recently awarded a $20,000 grant from The Parmenter Foundation to support its Navigation Line, a phone service that connects area residents with social service and mental health resources.
