On Thursday, August 27, Keith Scott, our Vice President of Peer Support and Self-Advocacy, gave a presentation about The Living Room as part of The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA) and National Empowerment Center's webinar series.

Scott shared about his own lived experience and the importance of peer support for mental health recovery.

The only program of its kind in the MetroWest and greater Boston areas, The Living Room is a non-clinical, welcoming space for adults experiencing a mental health crisis or emotional distress. Located in downtown Framingham, visitors can walk in and connect with a peer specialist on the spot.
