The Adult Family Care (AFC) and Personal Care Assistance (PCA) Programs are two Masshealth funded programs that can support you and your loved one. Come and learn which of these benefits will work best for your family.

The Adult Family Care provides financial assistance and the resources your family needs to thrive. An experienced team of case managers and nurses partners with your whole family to help you care for your loved one in the comfort of home.

The PCA Program helps people with permanent or chronic disabilities keep their independence, stay in the community, and manage their own personal care by providing funds to hire personal care attendants (PCAs).

A Full Life Ahead is a workshop series offered by Massachusetts Families Organizing for Change (MFOFC) for parents and guardians of young adults with a disability. The series focuses on transition, employment, housing, friendships and other topics that will lead to interdependent, full lives. Advocates is proud to partner with MFOFC to offer workshops in the Metro Boston/MetroWest region.

Presented by:

AFC: Beth Gutierrez LICSW, AFC Program Director, Advocates
