The Association for Behavioral Healthcare (ABH), a statewide organization representing over 80 community-based behavioral healthcare provider organizations, recently recognized its 2020 award recipients at its annual Salute to Excellence event hosted virtually this year.

Each year, ABH recognizes individuals and groups that have made impressive contributions to the field of mental health and addiction treatment. This year, Robert Hallion, director of operations for behavioral health services at Advocates Inc., received the Exceptional Leadership Award.

As the director of operations for behavioral health services, Hallion counsels service line directors on budgeting, financial forecasting and analysis, program growth and scaling, staffing needs, and operational systems.

The Exceptional Leadership Award is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated a personal long-term commitment to the goals of ABH and who have provided leadership and support to the association, its members, and staff around behavioral health issues.

ABH is based in Natick. Advocates is based in Framingham.
