Greetings and Happy New Year!

2015 is a big year for Advocates as we celebrate our 40th anniversary.  We’ve grown and changed tremendously over the past four decades—always with the same goal of providing more opportunities for people facing serious challenges to lead healthy and fulfilling lives in our communities.

This year, as you can see, we are introducing a new look and a new, vastly improved website to better share those opportunities with individuals and families who will benefit from our services, and supporters like you who partner with us to provide them.

We’re especially excited about several of our new and growing initiatives, including:

Autism Services
Residential, day, and employment supports for adults and young adults. Read about Eric, a young man with autism, and the expanded family he’s made through Advocates Shared Living.

Brain Injury Services
New residential and day programs providing skilled and compassionate support for survivors of brain injury, like John, who recently moved into our newest home in beautiful Rockport, Mass. Read John’s story.

Peer Supports
For people in Mental Health Recovery. Read Heidi's story of hope, and learn about her journey to becoming a peer specialist at Advocates.

Fun, Friends, and Family Events
Affordable recreational and social activities for adults and young adults with disabilities, and their families. Check out our upcoming Snow Ball dance party!

Family Services
Workshops, resources, and support for families caring for loved ones with disabilities. We invite you to connect with one of our Family Support Navigators  or join us for our upcoming workshop, Shared Living – An Insider’s Perspective.

I hope you’ll take some time to explore what’s new at Advocates and the many ways you can Take Action, as we work together to make lives better.

Sincerely,

Diane Gould
